Principal's Message

Welcome Warrior Families!

As the proud principal of Winton Woods High School and the Academy of Global Studies, it is my privilege to welcome you to our school community. At WWHS, we are deeply committed to educating and preparing the whole child for their future—nurturing not just academic achievement, but the social, emotional, creative, and physical growth of every single student.

To ensure our students are ready for the world of tomorrow, Winton Woods High School has transitioned into a New Tech Network school. Every student attending the WWHS main campus enrolled in College Prep, Honors, or Advanced Placement courses (including College Credit Plus Options)  is attached to the Academy of Global Studies (AGS) or the New Tech Academy (NTA).

The New Tech Network (NTN) is a non-profit organization that helps students gain the knowledge and deeper learning skills they need to succeed in life, college, and the careers of tomorrow. Project-based learning (PBL) is at the heart of our instructional approach. In PBL, learning is contextual, creative, and shared. Our students collaborate on projects that require critical thinking and professional communication. By making learning relevant, student engagement reaches new levels, driving superior educational outcomes.

Our innovative instruction is supported by a smart, 1:1 technology culture. Using Echo, our online learning management system, we create a vibrant network that connects students, teachers, and parents to the learning process. This empowering environment promotes trust, respect, and responsibility, allowing students to take exceptional ownership of their education and hold themselves accountable to their peers.

Beyond our cutting-edge classrooms, the Warrior spirit thrives through a diverse and elite range of opportunities:

• Championship Athletics: We are home to an elite football program and our proud, back-to-back Eastern Cincinnati Conference (ECC) Champions for both our Girls and Boys Basketball teams.
• A Vibrant Arts Tradition: Our campus is alive with creativity through our acclaimed Choir, Music, Drama, and Visual Arts programs, giving students a platform to find and showcase their unique talents.
• Career Technical Education (CTE): Our growing CTE pathways equip students with industry-relevant skills and professional certifications, giving them a distinct competitive edge upon graduation.
